Reading and Internet
Near our city hall, there’s a small garden with a new building. This is our modern library. If want to spend a relaxed time reading a book, a magazine, a newspaper or surfing the net, you can go there. It’s a very comfortable place and you can take your laptop and use the free wireless internet or just ask for a computer. There are also sometimes exhibitions and other cultural activities.
Weekly open air market
This is the biggest weekly fair in Portugal and one of the biggest in Europe. It’s an open sky market where you can find almost everything at very good prices.
Fruit, vegetables, fish, bread, clothes and shoes are the most important products sold at this fair. You can visit our fair every Monday and you’ll find a great variety of products and a lot of bargains. Don’t forget you can try to negotiate prices with some salesmen! |
